That’s the question that ALL parents hear at least once a day :). I now actually cherish hearing those three words! I used to panic every afternoon worried about what I was going to prepare for dinner that night. My husband and children knew the day of the week by what I served for dinner…Mondays: Meatloaf; Tuesdays: Fish Sticks (yes, the frozen ones!); Wednesdays: Tacos; Thursdays: Spaghetti; Fridays: Pizza: Saturdays: Chicken Fingers and Sundays: Sandwiches! Now that our kids are grown and I’m not busy running from appointment to appointment or soccer practice to gymnastics lessons, I now have time to plan ahead and cook healthier (not always!) meals…and cooking has become fun and therapeutic and no longer a chore!
